The public is invited to attend the community breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, Nov. 4, at the Brainerd Elks Lodge, 215 S. Ninth St., Brainerd.
Order from the menu. All proceeds go to support Elks programs.
Brainerd Legion upcoming events
Plumbers class will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, and Friday, Nov. 9, at the Legion.
The special dinner for Friday, Nov. 9, will be Bob Harting's barbecue ribs for $11. Walleye dinner is also available for $11. Serving begins at 5 p.m.
There will be a benefit for Desiree Thoemke from 4:30-8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10.
Wadena Whirlaways Square Dancers to host dance
WADENA—The Wadena Whirlaways Square Dancers will host a dance Thursday, Nov. 8, at the VFW in Wadena.
Jim Lizakowski is the caller. The theme is Veterans Day/Patriotic. Plus dancing begins at 7:30 p.m. and mainstream dancing at 8 p.m.
PEO Chapter CJ to meet
PEO Chapter CJ will meet Tuesday, Nov. 6, at Susie O's home with Jeannine Z. as co-hostess. The Home Fund Committee will have the program.

Holiday arts and craft festival planned
The holiday arts and craft festival will be 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 10, at the Brainerd High School, 702 S. Fifth St., Brainerd. Use north or south doors.
The event is sponsored by Brainerd Community Education.

The Brainerd Eagles Auxiliary No. 287 will celebrate its 69th anniversary Tuesday, Nov. 6.
There will be a potluck meal at 5:30 p.m. and the Auxiliary meeting at 6:30 p.m. Bring a dish to share.
