'Gypsy Jazz' - John Jorgenson Quintet
Grammy winner, John Jorgenson and his Quintet, enthrall audiences with original and classic Gypsy Jazz. They heated up the Chalberg Theater Saturday in a performance for the CLC Cultural Arts Series.
In the mid 80's along with ex-Byrd Chris Hillman, he co-founded the Desert Rose Band. He won the Academy of Country Music's 'Guitarist of the Year' there consecutive times. Jorgenson has championed the re-emergence of Gypsy Jazz. In 209 he won a Grammy award for 'Best Guitar Player'.
