One dies in Randall traffic accident

Margaret Evelyn Lykins was driving east on Morrison County Road 14 when she stopped at the intersection with Highway 10. She then pulled out in front of a southbound vehicle on Highway 10 and was struck broadside, the State Patrol reported.

Lykins was not wearing a seat belt, the State Patrol reported. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the southbound vehicle on Highway 10, Thomas Albrecht, 19, and his passenger, Derek Rice, 19, both of Park Rapids, were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released.
