Are their arms sore?
With the constant changes in gas prices, I'm wondering if gas station employees get a discount when they have to purchase pain-relieving ointments for their sore, aching muscles?
Ham talk
The only ones making a big deal of the hams are non-city workers. It is all about appreciation and ways to express your appreciation, not hams. Bob Olson sponsored the appreciation dinner and was a hero. When that flopped, it was decided to give out hams. Now Bob is a hero again because he stopped the hams. Oh, by the way, did anyone notice at 7:30 a.m. Christmas Day, city workers and volunteer city workers were at city hall responding to a fire alarm? Probably not. At that time, most people were home watching their kids open Santa's presents.
Thanks, people
A big thank you to all the courteous Highway 371 South driving motorists between Nisswa and Baxter. Each morning, numerous cars on the side roads wait for an opening to merge in to the highway traffic. I've noticed many, many cars, when possible, move into the left inside lane to let these people merge onto the highway. What a great bunch of considerate drivers to make room for their fellow commuters. Thanks, people. Let's hope others take a lesson from us.
