I feel compelled to reply to the letter on "Depleted uranium."
I'm sure the letter writer means well and I can't argue with good intentions.
However to state that a "supposed" Army health physicist would work on depleted uranium without protective equipment is so "out in left field" as to be laughable!
The sad part is that misinformation like this may strike someone somewhere as "factual" and could scare them for no reason except ignorance
If this "health physicist" is that incompetent as to not use or provide to others protective equipment, he definitely has no business around anything "scarier" than fluoride toothpaste!
