Anyone six months of age or older can receive a flu shot from the Crow Wing County Department of Health from 2-5 p.m. Jan. 6 at the Pequot Lakes High School. No appointments are needed.
The shots cost $15. The Crow Wing County Department of Health will only bill Medicare Part B, Medical Assistance or MinnesotaCare and only if a card is presented.
Minnesota Vaccines for Children flu shots also are available to children 18 and younger at a cost of $5. Call the Crow Wing County Health Department at (218) 824-1080 for more information.
FluMist is available only at the Crow Wing County Department of Health office. People who would like FluMist and are between the ages of 5-49 should call (218) 824-1080 to schedule an appointment.
