CASS LAKE -- The names of the four people injured in a two-vehicle accident Thursday near Cass Lake were released Monday.
Both drivers were injured. Marvin Rogers, 36, Cass Lake, was driving southbound on Cass County Road 75 and Maynard Jenkins, 53, Minneapolis, was driving northbound on Cass County Road 60. The Cass County Sheriff's Department reported that Rogers turned in front of Jenkins at the intersection and Jenkins could not stop to avoid the collision.
Rogers was transported to a Cass Lake medical facility and Jenkins was transported to North Country Regional Hospital in Bemidji. Jenkins had three passengers in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Alfreda McKenzie, 54, address unknown, was transported to the Cass Lake medical facility; Leonard Cree, 57, address unknown, was transported to the hospital in Bemidji; and Nigel Butcher, 24, address unknown, was not injured.
Information was unavailable Monday night on the conditions of Jenkins, Rogers, McKenzie and Cree.
The accident was reported at 9:16 p.m.
