A female suffered a head injury Friday when she fell off the back of an all-terrain vehicle while riding on Gull Lake, about a mile northeast of Ernie's restaurant. She was not wearing a helmet.

The Brainerd Fire Department responded to the scene using a snowmobile rescue to reach the accident, which was reported at 4:38 p.m. An Air Care helicopter was called to the scene.

Pedestrian struck by vehicle

An 18-year-old Brainerd man suffered minor injuries when he was struck by a vehicle while crossing Excelsior Road near Fleet Farm in Baxter.

Evan Tougas was crossing the road to the store from the employee parking lot. The Baxter Police Department reported he was transported to the hospital but did not suffer serious injuries.
