Brainerd's Warriorettes are the defending champions, having posted 53-33 and 57-39 wins over Crosby-Ironton and Moorhead in last year's meet, heading into the opening round of the Paul Bunyan Girls' Basketball Tournament tonight.

Disadvantaged boys from the Twin Cities area are being treated to brief periods of fun and recreation in the Breezy Point area as a result of a new program being conducted by the Breezy Point Area Boosters Club.
