CORRECTION

In a Dec. 17 story from a Crow Wing County Board meeting, the story should have said the tax abatement for The Lodge at Brainerd Lakes reduced the tax, not the market value, for 2009 from $235,775.42 to $189,345.46. The story also talked about market value, but the figures related to the tax abatement.

The market value was reduced to the court stipulation for the 2008 assessment and was reduced for 2010 so the assessor's office agreed to the tax abatement for 2009.
