WALKER - The following appeared recently in Cass County District Court:
Linda K. Johns, 34, Walker, was sentenced for gross misdemeanor theft to 30 days jail, ordered to pay $1,107 fines and fees and placed on two years supervised probation.
Stephen Michael Schnichels, 52, Pillager, was sentenced for felony first-degree controlled substance crime (sale) to 49 months prison, with credit for 391 days already served, and ordered to pay $82 fees.
