PILLAGER -- A Duluth man suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle accident on Christmas Eve near Pillager, the State Patrol reported.

Michael Weiner, 61, was taken to St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd. The crash was reported about 1 a.m. on Highway 210 about three miles west of Pillager.

Four people seriously injured in crash

CASS LAKE -- Four people were seriously injured, one with possible head trauma, in a two-vehicle collision Thursday night near Cass Lake, the Cass County Sheriff's Department reported.

The crash was reported about 9:15 p.m. on County Road 75 just north of Highway 2. No names were released pending notification of next of kin. One individual was airlifted to Fargo, N.D.
