ST. CLOUD - Class 2A's ninth-ranked Little Falls Flyers remained unblemished as they defeated the St. Cloud Apollo Eagles 53-47 behind Alex Scott's 19 points and Dan Kornbaum's 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Little Falls trailed 29-26 at the half and held only a one-point lead with two minutes remaining. However, the Flyers went 6-for-6 from the charity stripe down the stretch with Scott going 4-4 and Ethan Mustonen 2-2.

PIERZ - Jordan Reed scored 20 points, and Ryan Nelson had 18 to lead the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines past the Pierz Pioneers 65-61 in non-conference action Tuesday.
The Pioneers were led in scoring by Brandon Meyer with 23 points, and by Preston Weber with 14. Pierz managed just 28 percent shooting, going 12-43 from the field. Andy Kretschmar grabbed 14 rebounds for the Pioneers.
