Miller leads unbeaten Little Falls boys past Tech

LITTLE FALLS -- Nate Miller scored 34 points to help the Little Falls Flyers remain unbeaten with an 82-63 triumph over the previously undefeated St. Cloud Tech Tigers in Central Lakes Conference boys' basketball Friday.

Tony Golden added nine points, all on three-point baskets, and Mark Kasella contributed eight points for the Flyers.

STAPLES -- The Staples-Motley Cardinals, ranked seventh in Class AA, jumped out to an eight-point lead after one quarter and went on to post a 67-60 victory over the Detroit Lakes Lakers in Mid-State Conference action Friday night.

S-M point guard Jeff Brever led all scorers with 26 points and also grabbed 10 rebounds for the Cardinals who improved to 5-0 overall.
