Wallis-Peterson
Royal Eliza Wallis and Lt. Cmdr. Brian Matthew Peterson were married May 13, 2000, at Shelter Island near San Diego with the Rev. George Snelling officiating.
Parents are Ruth Wallis, Palm Desert, Calif., Roy and Susan Wallis, Paris, Texas, Jeanne and William Horning, Crosslake, and Harold Peterson, Breezy Point.
A reception will be Saturday at Zorbaz Restaurant in Crosslake.
The bride graduated from Palm Desert High School and is attending Cal State San Bernardino. She is employed with Morgan, Stanley Dean Witter Investments.
The groom graduated from Pine River-Backus High School and the U.S. Naval Academy, Annapolis, Md. He is currently stationed with the Pacific Fleet in San Diego but will be receiving advanced training in Newport, R.I., in January 2001.
The couple will be living in Newport, but will return to San Diego in July 2001.
