Warriors combine for 5th

CHISAGO LAKES - Andrea and Ari Cibuzar placed in the top 15 and the Brainerd Warriors Alpine skiing teams combined for a fifth-place overall finish in Friday's Chisago Lakes High School Invite at Wild Mountain.

Combining the Warrior boys' and girls' points, Brainerd scored 1,038 to finish behind only Bloomington Jefferson, Minnetonka, Stillwater and Minnehaha Academy.

Andrea Cibuzar's two-run time of 68.34 seconds placed her 11th out of 127 skiers for the Warrior girls.

Brainerd placed sixth of 27 girls' teams. Ari Cibuzar's time of 68.62 put her in 14th place.

The Warrior boys' team also finished sixth. Brainerd's Rian Hutchison was 24th at 66.62 and Bror Linnerooth was 26th at 66.95.
