B-H/V wins at Eagle Valley

EAGLE BEND -- The Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale Raiders wrestling team won five individual titles and the team championship in Saturday's Bronco Invitational at Eagle Valley High School.

Zak Lambert won the 103-pound title, Ethan Kern won at 112, Matt Moenkedick at 119, Adam Wutzke at 130 and Sam Moenkedick at 135. The Raiders also had four runners-up.

Pierz's Nathan Britz was runner-up at 152, Matt Mrnak third at 275, Jon Andres fourth at 130 and Kyle Girtz seventh at 160.
