Once there was a girl named Kimberly. She's the kind of girl that loved Christmas. She liked the stories about Baby Jesus. She liked the presents people gave her, she liked to give people presents and she liked to watch the Christmas programs that were held in church. When Christmas came, she got all excited.
On Christmas Eve, Kimberly asked her mom what she thought were the best presents. Her mom told Kimberly to go, think it over, make her own list and tomorrow, Christmas Day, she will tell Kimberly the best presents. So, Kimberly went to her room and made a list:
1. family, 2. love, 3. food, 4. home, 5. school, 6. friends, 7. clothes, 8. people, 9. water.
Kimberly only got to nine, because she couldn't think of any more.
The next day Kimberly woke up and ran to her mom's room to ask her about the list. Her mom said, "The most important Christmas present is having a family who loves you." Then she gave Kimberly a big hug and kiss.
