27 turnovers doom CLC women

IRONWOOD, Mich. -- Turnovers once again were the downfall of the Central Lakes College women's basketball team as the Raiders lost to the Gogebic Community College Lady Samsons 71-50 Friday in the McDonald's Shootout.

CLC (1-8) turned the ball over 27 times, which the Lady Samsons turned into 30 points. Gogebic also was hot from the outside, hitting nine 3-pointers.
