Pond hockey equipment will be distributed at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mill Avenue Park warming house for anyone who has registered in the Brainerd Parks and Recreation Department's Penguins and Polar Bears programs.

There will be a short parents meeting following distribution of equipment.

JV gymnasts win

Brainerd defeated Sauk Rapids 123.750 116.550 in junior varsity gymnastics Thursday.

Brainerd winners were Sydney Wold on vault, Allison Reuer on the uneven bars and Kelsi Ring on balance beam.

Sophomore girls win

The Brainerd Warriors sophomore girls' basketball team defeated St. Cloud Apollo 43-32 on Tuesday.

Brainerd was led in scoring by Ally Mueller with 11 points. Kayla Kraemer, Ashley Tibbetts and Jalynn Lamb each added six.
