Gerald J. Majersky, 62, Brainerd, died Wednesday, Dec. 15, 2004, at the Silver Bay Veteran's Home in Silver Bay, Minn.
He was born in Bloomington, Minn., on March 4, 1942, to John and Irene (Swanbeck) Majersky. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1961-1964. He was a hair stylist and former owner at the Men's Room Barbershop in Brainerd.
He is survived by his son, Ronald Majersky, of Brainerd; his daughter, Miona (Dale) Hummel, of Brainerd; four grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, and a brother.
Services will be held Monday, Dec. 20, 2004, at 1:30 p.m. at the Halvorson-Johnson Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Harold Tongen officiating. Interment will be in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Camp Ripley with military graveside rites by American Legion Post No. 255 of Brainerd. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.
