FOLEY -- Irene Cielinski, 85, Foley, died Sunday, Dec. 15, 2002, at Country Manor Health Care and Retirement Center in Sartell.
She was born April 26, 1917, in Gilmanton Township, Benton County, to Winslow and Veronica (Roketa) Helmin. She married Vincent Cielinski on June 27, 1939, in Gilman. They farmed most of their lives in Benton County. They moved to Columbia Heights in 1956 and to Mission Lake in 1972. They later moved back to Foley in 1984. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church, Foley; past member of Immaculate Conception Rosary Society; and a member of the Gilman Senior Citizens.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis, Merrifield; and Roger "Butch," East Bethel; and a daughter, Eileen Quade, Foley; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Clarence Helmin, Foley, and Marcel Helmin, Alaska; and a sister, Frances Cielinski, Foley.
Her husband and two brothers, Severyn and Henry Helmin, died earlier.
Services will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church in Foley with the Father Greg Paffel officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today with parish prayers at 7 p.m. at the Foley Funeral Home.
