Winter weather advisory parts of the northeast today but continuing for vilas county through this evening...

Lake effect snow advisory far northwest near lake superior...

Today...Occasional snow showers or flurries. Accumulations of 3 to 5 inches near lake superior....1 to 3 inches northeast and an inch or less south. Temperatures steady in the 20s west and falling into the 20s east.

Tonight...Partly cloudy northwest. Mostly cloudy east with scattered snow showers. Lows in the teens to lower 20s.

Wednesday...Partly or mostly cloudy. A chance of light snow or flurries northwest. Highs in the 20s to around 30.

Thursday...Partly or mostly cloudy with scattered flurries. Lows in the teens to lower 20s. Highs in the mid 20s to around 30.

Friday...Mostly cloudy with a chance of light snow...Possibly mixed with rain far south. Lows in the teens to lower 20s. Highs in the mid 20s to mid 30s.

Saturday...Partly cloudy. Scattered flurries far north. Lows in the teens to mid 20s. Highs in the lower 20s to lower 30s.
