Jerry L. Buscher, 64, Brainerd, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2002, at home.
He was born May 22, 1938, in Brainerd to Henry and Lamira (Racine) Buscher. He married Jackie Wolford on June 29, 1957, in Crosby. He was employed as a foreman at Potlatch. He served in the Army Reserves. He was a member of the American Legion, St. Andrew's Catholic Church where he served as a Eucharistic minister and usher. He volunteered at St. Joseph's Medical Center.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, John and Gerald Buscher, both of Brainerd, and Andrew Buscher, Merrifield; two daughters, Deanne Anderson, Lake Shore, and Karen Marcotte, Palm Bay, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and a brother, Dr. Charles Buscher, New Brighton.
His parents and a sister, Alice Sundquist, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Brainerd with Father Seamus Walsh officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today with parish prayers at 7 p.m. at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and an hour before services Tuesday at the church.
