Christmas trees for mission
Trinity Lutheran youths are selling Christmas trees as a fund-raiser for next summer's mission trip. The variety of trees, balsam, fir and pine, are $20 each. The money raised will be used to send nine young people and three adults to Appalachia for a weeklong mission trip.
Trinity Christmas Song Service
The five choirs and resident organist Ellen Holte of Trinity Lutheran Church will be featured Sunday at the annual Christmas Song Service. A variety of music will be offered at the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services by Joyful Noise, the Trinity Light worship team, Trinity Bells, the Flute Choir and the TLC Singers.
'He Gave Everything' drama planned
First Baptist Church of Baxter will present the musical drama "He Gave Everything" at 6 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church auditorium. Ron and Shelly Hamilton wrote the drama that tells the story of one family reaching out to help another family in need and how they are changed in the process. An approximately 40-member choir directed by Brian Jansma will sing the musical selections, including traditional carols and songs specially composed for this production. The First Baptist Choir will join the choir from First Baptist in Little Falls for this cantata. There is no admission charge.
