Pillager School students to be in concert Monday

PILLAGER -- The Pillager School Music Department will present its annual Christmas Concert at 7:30 p.m. Monday in the Performance Center.

The concert will include music by the junior band, junior choir, senior choir and senior band. The concert will include traditional Christmas music and some surprises.

Traditional season titles in the night's performance will include "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel," "Carol of the Bells," "Do You Hear What I Hear" and "The Twelve Days of Christmas."

For the less traditional, students will perform "Christmas A La Big Band," "African Noel" and "Night of Silence."

The concert will also feature small groups performing music of the season.

Surprises planned for the night will include school faculty performing, as well as a prepared video.

Choirs are directed by Rob Freelove. Bands are directed by Charles Johnson.

There will be an admission charged for the concert.
