Central Lakes College's spring Cultural Arts Series will begin with The Second City at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 24 in the Chalberg Theatre on the Brainerd campus.
Tickets are $12.
The world-renowned improvisational comedy troupe that launched the careers of John Belushi, Bill Murray, Mike Meyers, John Candy and Gilda Radner will perform their touring production of "In Blog We Trust."
Founded in Chicago in 1959, The Second City has become the premier training ground for comedy's best and brightest. No subject matter is off limits. If your parents asked you not to speak about it at the dinner table, chances are it will be made fun of in an evening with The Second City.
Workshops taught by Second City members will be offered at 7 p.m. Jan. 23 and 1 p.m. Jan. 24. The fee is $75 for one workshop or $125 for both workshops. Workshops are limited to 15 participants each.
