DEERWOOD -- John R. Tuthill, age 63, of Deerwood, died on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2004, at his home.
He was born on March 20, 1941, in Minneapolis to Harry and Helen (Johnson) Tuthill. He married Janet Fahlstrom in Mason City, Iowa, on April 7, 1959. He was founder and partner in Tuthill and Sons Masonry and JT Masonry. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby and was a member of Labor for Christ.
He is survived by his wife, Janet; two sons, Robert (Debbie Marxen) Tuthill, Aitkin, and John (Nannette) Tuthill, Deerwood; one daughter, Julie Lovett, Aitkin; brother Tom Tuthill, Covington, Ga.; sisters Mary Lou Klumpner, Monticello, Ga., Peg (Elmer) Siebke, of Gladstone, Mo.; ten grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Richard and Robert Tuthill, and one sister, Jean Rogers.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. on Wednesday at the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosby. Burial will be at the Deerwood Scandia Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby and one hour prior to services at the church in Wednesday.
