EMILY -- Emily Charter School will present its annual Christmas holiday program at 7 p.m. Monday.
In American tradition, the Emily Charter School Band will perform carols, and the choir will perform Christmas songs.
Fifth- and sixth-graders will move out in the ocean to Hawaii while third- and fourth-graders will stop in Africa. Ms. Goddard's first- and second-graders will celebrate Hanukkah, or the celebration of light, in Israel. Mrs. Smith's first- and second-graders will stop in Mexico where the children celebrate La Posada, which is the re-creation of the nativity.
Preschoolers and kindergartners will return to the United States and join in with the entire student body in a finale.
