Pillager students to give Christmas concerts

PILLAGER -- The Pillager School music department will present two Christmas concerts Monday in the school performance center.

The first concert, presented by the junior high music groups, will begin at 6:30 p.m. The junior band will perform "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer," "My Heart Will Go On," "A Night at Symphony Hall" and "Three Christmas Carols." The junior choir's selections will include "Samba Santa" and "Fum Fum Fum."

The second concert will begin at 7:45 p.m. with the senior high band and choir performing. The band will play "Christmas Festival," "Aria," "Christmas Caroling" and "Dance of the Tumblers." The choir will sing "Jazz Gloria," "Wade in the Water," "Star of Wonder," "Festival Deck the Halls" and "Night of Silence."

There is an admission fee for the senior high concert.
