H1N1 clinic planned for adults with special health needs Wednesday

Posted: Saturday, December 12, 2009

A walk-in H1N1 clinic is planned from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday at Crow Wing County Public Health for persons 64 years and younger who have special health needs that make it difficult to attend another community clinic site.

This might include those who are wheelchair bound, have cognitive disabilities or are undergoing cancer treatments.

There is no charge for this vaccine. No appointments will be made.

No second doses will be given at this clinic for children younger than 10 who already received their first H1N1 dose.

Crow Wing Public Health is at 204 Laurel St., Brainerd.

Guidelines for clinics may change so call the county flu hotline at 822-7022 before attending and also for more information about future flu clinics.
