Benefit dinner for Lynn Franz planned

A benefit dinner, silent auction and bake sale is planned for Lynn Franz from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Dec. 19 at the Moose Lodge, 219 South Ninth St., Brainerd.

Franz, Brainerd, has experienced complications from past surgeries, including a knee replacement surgery in July, and is currently receiving physical therapy four days a week and is unable to work. Also, after five years, she is still fighting the aftereffects of breast cancer.

Those interested in donating an item for the silent auction can drop it off at Preferred Hearing next to Crow Wing Power on Hwy. 371 N., Brainerd.

For those unable to attend the benefit but still wish to contribute something, a fund has been established for Lynn Franz, c/o Brainerd BN Credit Union, 804 Laurel St., Brainerd, MN 56401.
