Posted: Monday, December 12, 2005

WILLMAR - Danielle Uphoff scored 11 points and Kayla Huether added 10, but the Brainerd Warriors girls' basketball team dropped its fourth game of the season, losing to Willmar 47-40 Saturday in Central Lakes Conference action.

"It was a one-point game with a minute left, but we missed a one-and-one opportunity and threw the ball away a couple times," said Brainerd head coach Carl Hendrickson.

Natalie Niager had 10 rebounds and Megan Bates pulled down nine.

"We played a good game, but it wasn't enough," said Hendrickson.
