Engelbert Schutta

CROSBY -- Engelbert Schutta, 85, Crosby, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at Cuyuna Regional Care Center of Crosby.

He was born Oct. 31, 1915, in Mounds View Township to George and Rose (Lessman) Schutta. He married Velma Violet Craver on June 11, 1936, in New Brighton. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church of Crosby. He was owner and operator of Schutta Nursery in New Brighton for 37 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Przymus, Ironton; and two grandchildren.

His wife; a sister, Margaret Schutta; and two brothers, George and Joseph Schutta, died earlier.

Services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church of New Brighton. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery of New Brighton.

Friends may call an hour before services Wednesday at the church.
