Clough to speak to boosters club

Brainerd Warriors dance team coach Cindy Clough will be the speaker at the Brainerd Sports Boosters Club meeting, which begins at noon Thursday at the Moose Lodge.
Emily Thesing, the Warrior Athlete of the Week, will be honored.
Sophomore girls win
The Brainerd sophomore girls' basketball team defeated Moorhead 44-37 Tuesday.
Brainerd (2-1) was led in scoring by Ally Mueller with 15 points and Jalynn Lamb and Ashley Tibbetts, both with nine points.
Sophomore boys lose
The Brainerd sophomore boys' basketball team lost to Alexandria 57-44 Tuesday.
Leading the Warriors in scoring were Mitch Bzdok with 15 points, Kevin Peterson had 12 and Jordan Hayes had 10.
The Warriors play Friday night at Sauk Rapids.
