AITKIN -- Fritz C. White, 86, Aitkin, formerly of Plymouth, died Saturday, Dec. 9, 2000, at Riverwood Health Care Center of Aitkin.
He was born June 13, 1914, in Pana, Ill., to Leo and Mary (Temmen) White. He attended schools in Pana. He moved to Minnesota at age 18 and worked for a time. He married Alice G. Peterson on Aug. 19, 1933, in Minneapolis. They moved to Pana and lived there for a time and then returned to Minneapolis. He worked for United Garment Co. for 23 years. He then owned and operated Medina Sales, a recreational vehicle sales company, for 26 years. He retired in 1980. He moved to the Aitkin area in the 1990s and had lived there since. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church of Aitkin. He was a former member of Holy Name Parish in Medina.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Fred White, Aitkin; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Loretta Applin, Morton, Ill.
Four brothers, two sisters and a great-grandson died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. James Catholic Church with Father Patrick Coyle officiating. Burial will be in Malmo Cemetery.
