PLYMOUTH -- The Robbinsdale Armstrong Falcons remained unbeaten with a 6-4 victory over the Brainerd Warriors in boys' hockey Saturday.
The Falcons outshot Brainerd 31-18 and snapped the Warriors' three-game win streak.
"We competed well enough to stay in the game and make it a close game, but I don't think we competed well enough to win it," Warriors coach Ty Eigner said. "Having four games in eight days -- we didn't play our best.
"(Goalie) Tom Cervantes did a good job keeping us in it. He gave us a chance to win. They had three power-play goals and one breakaway goal. The third period was our best period but they scored three goals."
Cervantes made 25 saves, playing all but about 15 seconds off the final period when the Warriors called timeout and briefly inserted Jon Weston in the net before Cervantes returned.
Chris Mattson scored two goals for the Warriors. Tony Parrish had a goal and two assists and J.P. Platisha had three assists. Matt Burris scored the other Brainerd goal.
"We played a good hockey game against a good team," Eigner said. "They're 5-0 now."
