Harriet Lily Lee

Harriet Lily Lee, 85, Brainerd, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.

She was born Oct. 10, 1915, in Minneapolis to Philip and Mary (Anderson) Malkerson. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in teaching. She married Gordon Lee on June 14, 1941, in Minneapolis. She was a homemaker in Red Wing for most of her life. She moved to Bethany Good Samaritan Village five years ago. She was a member of Christ Church in Red Wing and a past member of the First Presbyterian Church in Red Wing.

Survivors include her husband, Gordon; three sons, Theodore Lee, Minnetonka, James Lee, Woodbury, and David Lee, Red Wing; a daughter Mary Gustafson, St. Paul; a brother, Lester Malkerson, Shakopee; and nine grandchildren.

Her parents and a sister died earlier.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Christ Church in Red Wing with the Rev. Philip McNairy officiating.

Arrangements are with Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
