Professional actor Erik Steen applied the first makeup before making his appearance as the featured actor in this year's production, "A Christmas Carol," which is concluding at Central Lakes College.
A tough and selfish Ebenezer Scrooge sat at his desk in a London money-counting house.
Actress Celeana Rose Brown, who plays the Spirit of Christmas Past, reached out to Ebenezer Scrooge as he woke from a dream, revisiting his old partner Jacob Marley, who is played by Brian Herder.
After the makeup transformation, Erik Steen took on the character of Ebenezer Scrooge for the play, "A Christmas Carol."
Two hours before the curtain call, Erik Steen began to apply makeup backstage at the John Chalberg Theatre in Central Lakes College. In the past five years, Steen has appeared in more than 25 productions around Minneapolis-St. Paul. A "Christmas Carol" is under the direction of Marion Graham Spradlin, vocal direction by Sue Johnson, music by George Maurer and adapted by Patrick Spradlin.
