LITTLE FALLS -- Icy road conditions are being blamed in a fatal traffic collision Tuesday in Little Falls.
CRIME
Crow Wing County law enforcement agencies about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday were involved in a vehicle chase along Wise Road and Crow Wing County Road 77 that turned into a foot pursuit near Barbeau and Gull Lake Dam roads. At least one arrest was made. Further information was unavailable Tuesday night.

BAXTER -- Water and sewer will cost a little more next year in Baxter. The Baxter City Council Tuesday adopted its 2005 fee schedule, with the biggest changes being for one-time water and sewer availability charges.

So Baxter wants to add a .5 percent sales tax so the people who come to their city can fund their water and wastewater infrastructure because they use it too. I believe this is really poor planning on their part. People don't drive to Baxter just to use their water and flush their toilets.
