The Brainerd High School Warrior Dance Team took fourth place Saturday at an invitational at Apple Valley High School in the high kick division.
Head Coach Cindy Clough said, "We always look for meets that will challenge us and this one did. Most of the top teams were present so a fourth-place finish at this meet was exciting."
Clough said the team performed better overall and their kick scores were the best they have had in years.
The varsity dance team will compete Dec. 19 in Bloomington.
