Ethelyn Alexander
PINE RIVER -- Ethelyn Alexander, 73, Pine River, died Tuesday, Dec. 4, 2001, at Whispering Pines Good Samaritan Home in Pine River.
She was born June 6, 1928, in Backus to Arthur and Myrtle (Williams) Kimball.
Survivors include three sons, Dean Alexander, Backus, James Alexander, Leader, and Wade Alexander, Baxter; two daughters, Lucinda Anderson, Duluth, and Melinda Linscheid, Eagan; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Gladys Sawyer, Pine River, Sylvia Heem, International Falls, and Fern Fundaun, Remer.
Three sisters, Altha Burnett, Geneva Sawyer and Beatrice Milder, and three brothers, Jacob Kimball, Wade Kimball and Arthur Kimball, died earlier.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Church of the Nazarene in Backus with Pastor Barb Christenson officiating. Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
Friends may call from 9:30 a.m. until services Saturday at the church.
