Open Forum
I am amazed that some people voted no on the school referendum because they believe that teachers make "too" much money. Consider that the price of obtaining a four-year degree at a public university is well over $50,000, with some teacher licensure programs requiring a fifth-year as well, consider also that a good portion of college students must obtain loans - and consider finally that the starting salary for teachers is about $32,000 per year. Do the math!

His message needs repeating and highlighting.
