MnDOT raises funds for the soup kitchen

BAXTER -- Minnesota Department of Transportation employees in the Baxter office raised $273 Wednesday in a fund-raising effort for the Sharing Bread Soup Kitchen in Brainerd.

Members of MnDOT's Wellness Committee presented the donation to Pastor Bob Evans at the Temple Baptist Church on Oak Street in Brainerd. This is the second year that MnDOT employees, through its Wellness Committee, raised funds for a community organization.
