John Remington Graham, former Brainerd attorney, is to have his day in court when the Minnesota Supreme Court will hear arguments that Graham be suspended for 60 days and fined $1,000 in costs for unprofessional conduct.

Tim Frazier, with a combined score of 17.4 points, became Brainerd's first state champion in gymnastics when he won a gold medal in floor exercise. He also won a bronze medal for vault, according to head coach Paul Bloom.

The largest rural children's Christmas party in Brainerd's history is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 3, with more than 3,000 children expected from the three counties which are the Brainerd trade area. Over 2,000 attended the 1948 party.

Nine hundred new seats for the Paramount Theatre have arrived and installation will begin soon, according to manager George D. Irwin. Especially designed and constructed, the seats represent the utmost in scientific construction and engineering.

The Hays-Weaver Milling Co. has received laboratory reports from samples of flour manufactured at the Brainerd mill and they have been shown of the highest standard First Patent. They can produce buckwheat, rye flour and meal and feed of all kinds.
