Butch (Alex) Smude Sr., Pine Center, will celebrate his 80th birthday with an open house from 1-4 p.m. Dec. 9 at JR's Junction Pine Center. No gifts please. The event is hosted by his children and grandchildren. He was born Dec. 12, 1927, in Morrison County.
