Brainerd gets past Tech in season opener

ST. CLOUD -- The Brainerd Warriors wrestling team registered four pins and posted a 39-28 victory over the St. Cloud Tech Tigers in the Central Lakes Conference and season opener Tuesday.

Nick Lingwall got a pin at 119-pounds while teammates Jake Patnode (130) and Nick Loreno (135) picked up consecutive pins for the Warriors. Grant Jaeche took down Tech's Giles Henry at 215 for the last pin for Brainerd.
