Beachy, Cardinals get first win

STAPLES -- Behind 13 points from Jacque Peterson, the Staples-Motley Cardinals earned their first win of the girls' basketball season by downing Long Prairie-Grey Eagle 52-41.

It was the first coaching victory for the Cardinals' Arden Beachy.
