DULUTH (AP) -- James Connor had two goals and two assists to lead Denver past Minnesota-Duluth 8-2 Friday night.
Kevin Ulanski and Jon Foster each added a goal and two assists for the Pioneers (10-1-0, 7-0-0 WCHA).
The Bulldogs jumped ahead just four minutes into the game when Jon Francisco scored on a power play. But less than a minute later, Connor had his first assist as Jesse Cook scored a goal for Denver. And at the end of the first period, Denver led 3-1.
The teams traded goals in the second, and Denver scored four unanswered points in the third.
Denver had 43 shots on goal, compared to 33 for Duluth.
Wade Dublielewicz had 31 saves for the Pioneers in 60 minutes in goal. Adam Coole and Rob Anderson split time for Duluth.
Jon Francisco and Beau Geisler each had one goal for the Bulldogs (4-10-1, 0-8-1 WCHA). Andy Reierson, Judd Medak, Mark Carlson and Tom Nelson assisted.
