Dennis Eastman was named the new head coach of the Central Lakes College Raiders women's basketball team Thursday.
He replaces Brad Amundson who was removed from his position Wednesday.
This will be Eastman's fifth stint as a head coach at CLC.
Eastman has enjoyed success as a coach of three sports at CLC.
He formerly coached the women's basketball team for 15 seasons, through the 2004-05 season. His Raider teams went 183-175, winning the Division III national championship in 1996, and qualified for eight state tournaments.

Eastman's Raider softball teams went to national tournaments in 2000 and 2001, finishing seventh both times. In four seasons, ending in 2003, the Raiders had an 80-47 record under his guidance.
He also was the former head coach of the Raider football team from 1994-98 and in 2003-04. His CLC teams compiled a 27-33 record in those seven seasons.
Efforts to reach CLC president Larry Lundblad, athletic director Jane Peterson and Eastman were unsuccessful Thursday night.
